Most freelancers wait for a job post and compete on price. You don’t have to.

Upwork, Fiverr and job boards give you dozens of rival proposals on every listing, connects to buy and a fee off the top. Meanwhile, most businesses with a problem never post a job. They’re busy. They’d hire the right person tomorrow if that person showed up with a clear offer.

Direct Client Magnet teaches you to be that person.

What it is

A 90-day system for getting paying clients without depending on any platform. You build a list of the right people, send them short personal messages on LinkedIn and by email, and follow up on a set routine. Direct clients are where better rates and repeat work come from.

The maths

One client paying $900 a month covers the price of this guide many times over. Three or four clients at $2,100 to $2,800 a month is a $100K year. You don’t need a hundred clients. You need a few who pay every month.

What you’ll build in 90 days

An offer a specific buyer understands in one sentence, priced in dollars
A LinkedIn profile and proof page that pull clients to you
A list of 100 named decision-makers who need what you do
Outreach that gets replies, on LinkedIn and by cold email
A call, pricing and payment process that gets you paid upfront

What’s inside

The guide: ten modules, from your offer to your 90-day operating rhythm
The Cold Email Bank: 38 first emails, worked examples, before-and-after rewrites, follow-up sequences and reply scripts. Nine are built for freelancers with no client results yet.
The Direct Client Toolkit: rate calculator, offer builder, outreach builder and pipeline tracker, on your phone or in Excel
Seven AI skills for Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini that build your offer, find prospects, write your cold emails, prepare your calls and review your numbers every Friday

Built for freelancers working from Nigeria, across Africa and around the world

Getting paid. Retainers in advance, projects 50% upfront, two payment rails so one delay never stops your income, and a one-page agreement.
No client results yet? Start from a past job result, a sample, your process or ideas written into the email.
Your location is a selling point. Lagos shares a working day with the UK and Europe, and finishes work overnight for US clients. You’ll learn to say that up front instead of hiding it.

Real students, real starts

Damilare’s biggest monthly deal in four years of freelancing came from a referral I passed him. It pays $3,000 a month.
Buszari typed “electronics manufacturers, 1 to 10 staff” into LinkedIn search, connected with a founder, and got paid $500 with a $1,200 milestone behind it.
Abigail was about to quote $500. She asked the budget first. The answer was $2,000.
Happiness sent 150 pitches. One became a $1,060-a-month role.
Samuel didn’t send a message. He fixed his LinkedIn profile, and a recruiter came to him with $500 to $1,000 projects.

Who this is for

Freelancers with a sellable skill and at least one finished piece of work to show. You don’t need a Top Rated badge. You do need to send messages every working day for 90 days.

Who it’s not for

Anyone looking for a shortcut. DCM is a system, and it only works if you run it. It also isn’t for anyone who wants a job instead of clients.

What you get when you pay

Instant access to the guide, toolkit, Cold Email Bank and AI skills.
